Four steps to easy rolling:

Anti-sticking preparation: thinly dust the board + rolling pin with flour, and soften the hard dough by pressing it with your hands first.

Pushing and rolling technique: Press the rolling pin horizontally on one end of the dough, and press the other end with your hands to stabilise it;

Push the dough forward and backward like a stamp, and switch the direction of rolling from left to right (don't just face one side);

Thickness reference: dumpling skin ≈ coin thick, noodles ≈ bank card thin;

Cutting shape: cut the noodles directly with a knife, or press the biscuits with a mould, and cook/bake them by lifting the crust.

Maintenance Tips

When you buy a new one, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it before using it.

Apply wood wax oil once a month (let sit for 2 hours afterwards)

Taboo: don't soak it in water! Don't put it by the heater!

You can choose any pattern: Christmas series, Easter series, Valentine's Day series, and so on. It is also a great choice for gift giving.

In terms of cleaning, it is also quite convenient. First, use a brush to remove any debris trapped in the pattern. Then, clean the rolling pin with neutral detergent and warm water. Be careful not to let water enter the inside of the rolling pin during cleaning, and dry it with a clean towel. This method is relatively gentle and can effectively remove dirt. It can be naturally dried in a well ventilated area.
